You guys, I’m about to have a BABY! I’m due tomorrow, or actually today since I’m putting this post up first thing in the morning. SOOO since I’m about to be a mama, I’ve decided to take a little break from the podcast for the next few months and enjoy my time with our son.
Season one was SO MUCH FUN to make, and even though I had no idea what I was doing, and was extremely uncomfortable interviewing people at first, I think stepping way out of your comfort zone and trying something new is really important. I still listen to shows and think, why did I say that? Or I didn’t even know you could use the word ‘like’ that many times in a sentence!? And I’m sure people think I’m not the best interviewer in the world, but you know what? I don’t really care. I tried something I’ve never done before, and I learned so much. And to me, that’s what I was looking for. Learning something new and meeting new friends along the way, that was the most important thing to me.
I’m thrilled to wrap up this season with one of the most brilliant and ambitious young ladies I’ve ever had the pleasure of interviewing. Jillian Bremer is just bursting with enthusiasm for her brand, and is an open book of knowledge, which she graciously shares with all of us. She started her vintage jewelry company, Sweet & Spark, three years ago and has worked hard to grow her brand authentically and organically over the years.
Jillian shares that her top priority in business is happiness. If you’re not happy, then what’s the point? She explains how important it is to trust your instinct, something she relies on daily. She talks about trial-and-error, and how making small mistakes and failures during the trial-and-error process is essential.
Please take a listen to the show, and if you liked Season 1 feel free to leave me a review on iTunes! I really love reading all of your comments and reviews, so keep ’em coming! Thank you soooooo much for the support so far. I’ve already got some great interviews lined up for the Spring! ~Julia xox
