Brides Who Brunch

This year I have three brunch weddings! I had never heard of a brunch wedding before, and all of a sudden I have three! This is one trend that I can really stand behind, I mean what’s not to love about french toast points, mimosas, and a build your own bloody mary bar?

Having a brunch wedding let’s you get creative with the food, decor, ambiance and could quite possibly save you money! Often times, venues charge a premium for prime Saturday night bookings. A bride could see substantial savings by booking on a Sunday morning. Also, brunch events tend not to be so heavy on the booze, which we all know can cost a lot!

Another brunch trend that I’m so in love with right now is the brunch rehearsal ‘dinner’. It’s just brilliant, especially if you’re a destination bride. Get all your closest loved ones together in the morning, then they have the whole day to sight see and YOU (bride) get to relax, get that mani-pedi and possibly even go to bed early — they don’t call it beauty sleep for nothing!
