Yesterday we participated in a New Orleans Fashion Week trunk show and brunch at local clothing boutique Hattie Sparks! Slightly outside of our usual wedding realm, this brunch was the perfect opportunity to showcase Mrs. Vintage in a new light. We don’t just do weddings! We can set up vintage furniture and accents for birthday parties, bridal showers, holiday parties, and more!
Heather Williams launched Tallulah in 2011 aiming to bring one-of-a-kind clothing and accessories to the fashionable ladies of the South. All of her garments are handmade and perfectly unique, no two dresses are alike. They have a playful, sophisticated & feminine vibe, and her statement necklaces and earrings are OUT OF CONTROL gorgeous.
The brunch was co-hosted by Juley of the fabulous blog Upperlyne and Genevieve of Uptown PR. The fashion forward crowd, champagne cocktails, and Satsuma Cafe catering was shopping bliss. I was overjoyed to see our gorgeous pieces on display and as a part of all the Fashion Week excitement.
This is just a tiny little peek at the brunch, photographer Erika Parker was on hand as well, capturing all of the loveliness! Once those photos are ready, I’ll be sure to share!! Enjoy! ~ Julia
Our Napoleon Chalkboard made quite a statement propped up against the giant Hattie Sparks striped wall!
What vintage event is complete without antique silver and glass bottles?
Getting the Rose Buffet set up for gift bags!
I created this Hattie Sparks inspired pumpkin by spray painting it white, adding gold glitter to the stem and wrapping a navy & white ribbon around the top! It was so perfect paired with one of our vintage scales!!
