vintage romance in the French Quarter

Mrs. Vintage Blog ~ Matthew Moore Photography

Hello from Nashville, y’all. My husband and I got out of New Orleans early, in preparation for the approaching storm, Hurricane Isaac. We’ve been wanting to go to Nashville since we moved to the south, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity! Of course I’ve already scouted out a few antique shops, one called the Gas Lamp looks particularly promising. Some great food, live music at the Bluebird, and a trip to Hatch Show Prints, are all on the agenda as well. Anyway, I thought today, more than ever, we could all use a little bit of beauty from the French Quarter. These vintage inspired images were captured by the husband and wife team at Matthew Moore Photography. The French Quarter is always a beautiful backdrop to any engagement session, but I absolutely love how they took a few photos inside some of my favorite French Quarter shops! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! ~ Julia
