a lakeside vintage wedding: Aimee + Jeremy

What happens when two incredibly creative designers fall in love and get married? This!? Aimee and Jeremy, the dynamic duo behind New Orleans based graphic design firm JAM Creative, and clothing design company Shultzilla, were kind enough to share with me photos from their wedding last year. I love everything about it, from their hand drawn logo and invitations, to the painted signs and vintage wedding rings. They were lucky enough to get married in Jeremy’s uncle’s backyard, which overlooks a gorgeous lake in Baton Rouge. Because of that, and handmade details like the handkerchief Aimee tied around her bouquet, the wedding feels very personal and unique. All of these pretty pics are courtesy of New Orleans photographer, Sam Gregory. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Julia xox

I mean, really? How adorable is this?

The whole invitation suite and postcard save-the-date where designed by the couple!

Both her engagement ring and wedding band are circa 1930.

I love her lace gown and birdcage veil!

Their favor was a gladiola bulb, in these sweet burlap bags.

What a great dance floor shot! I love it!

  1. What a great time! This certainly would not have been possible to pull off without the help of our families and friends. And…DJ Bird of Star 80 Entertainment definitely provided the cherry on top the ice cream with a rad soundtrack that kept everyone dancing through the night 🙂

We should do this again some time!

  2. Hey! Thanks so much for posting about our wedding! It was a whoot, and we’re totally stoked that you dig it so much!

Just a quick note, though. The portfolio shots are courtesy of our good buddy Sean Spansel – – We didn’t want to leave him out!

Thanks again for such an awesome article. You’re making us blush!
