wedding cakes galore!

In a wedding world dominated by non-traditional and unexpected wedding desserts, I’ve decided today’s post would take a look at a few of the  more traditional after-dinner options, specifically of the cake varietal. Don’t get me wrong, I love a cupcake as much as the next girl. The perfectly proportioned mini-cake is a sure bet for any event, and I’ve seen what the bakeries can do to put a ‘wedding spin’ on things. But there is something so marvelous and dignified about a multi-tiered wedding cake. The possibilities are truly endless! Believe me the photos in this post alone could have gone on for pages. Perhaps I’ll put together a Part Two one day, but for now, here are a few of my faves. Enjoy! xox

This photo was one of the very first I ever Pinned and also the one I brought to our caterer as inspiration for our big day!
