So I’m at the point in my own wedding planning process where I need to start thinking about decor, specifically escort cards and table names. I’ve gone back and forth on the idea of giving each table a name that reminds people of the last six years my honey and I have spent together, versus a simple table number. We’ve lived in San Francisco and New Orleans, so street names from each city might be fun? Or our favorite places in each city? Perhaps names of our favorite restaurants and date nights? I also love the idea of a beautiful number on each table. Simple, sweet, and pure. Adjectives I am trying to remind myself of during this monumental planning process.
And then there is the decision of how to display the escort cards, which let people know at which table they will be seated. I can’t just have them written out on a piece of paper! It is the perfect excuse to add another creative and personal element to our Big Day. So I’ve gathered up some of my favorite escort card displays and table numbers here, I’d love to hear what you think!
